I don’t think there’s a time stamp on these posts, but it is now 1:30am. This is the third night in a row I’ve been up this late working, and it won’t be the last. My husband bought me a couple two liters of Dr. Pepper to help me out since I don’t drink coffee. I am so swamped with holiday shoots and orders, it is really crazy. I made the mistake of overbooking myself, but what a great problem to have! On top of that, my daughter and hubby have been sick. I really think God is watching out for me, because in the past two weeks of our germ-fest – I have somehow managed to stay healthy. I can’t imagine being sick on top of everything else. (Hopefully I’m not jinxing myself by saying that out-loud!). Anyway, I’m calling it a night but wanted to post a recent shoot to try to get caught up on my blog.
Meet the ‘U’ Family. This is the 3rd time I’ve photographed members of this family. Their oldest graduated from high school a few years back and I did his senior portraits. I love repeat clients – it is so great to watch the family change and grow up, hear updates on what everybody is doing, etc. ‘S’ is a fireman now, and he’s such a great guy with an awesome personality. His little brother and sister (that followed us around Lake Mirror almost 3 years ago) are now 5 and 14 (I think!). ‘C’ could be a model and has the greatest hair of any guy I know. He has perfected the "hard core" look. And sweet ‘A’ is getting so big! She was my assistant on this shoot – when she wasn’t in the picture herself. Here are my favorites.
Aren’t these some good lookin kids?!
You can see where they get it from…
I just love this candid – makes me smile…
Lots of love in this family…
I’ll continue to post sessions as I complete the orders.
