I hope everyone had a great weekend!  We took Sydney to visit my folks for their first Easter with her.  The drive was long, but we had a great time playing with Grandma and Papa and visiting with several friends I grew up with and their families.  Sunday morning we were all woken up by a barking cough and the sound of Sydney gasping for air.  Luckily, one of my clients had just told me about her daughter’s experience with croup, so I recognized the symptoms.  We took her to the ER at 6am Easter Sunday morning.  She was such a good girl the whole time we were there… I was amazed.  So here are pictures from Sydney’s Easter egg hunt in my parents’ backyard later that morning.  Not quite what I had envisioned these to be – no pretty pink dress, no perfect hair in cute bows – instead she was wearing sweat pants and a t-shirt.  Oh well!  She really enjoyed herself this year – couldn’t even tell she was sick!
