I’m back from our weekend beach getaway.  My husband and I enjoyed a VERY relaxing time at St. Pete Beach for three glorious nights child-free.  Friday was pretty rainy all day, so we only went out on the beach for a couple of hours in the afternoon.  Did you know you could get sunburned even when it’s raining?  Well I learned the hard way that you can.  Because of the rain, I totally forgot my sunscreen….oops!

I also had a great photo shoot with a wonderful family on Saturday night.  I found an awesome spot for great beach portraits on Treasure Island, so if anybody is ever interested, please let me know.  I do think I’ll start offering more beach mini sessions around this time every year.  I’ll open up more time slots and give more notice the next time I do this.  After quickly looking through the images from that night, this one really stood out to me.  Little Miss was more interested in the water than in posing for a family portrait, so I love how this incorporates both. 

So starting tomorrow it’s back to work.  I hope everyone had a great weekend!  I’ll leave you with a shot of the beautiful sunset God gave us Saturday night…..
